Role Description The Video Editor role at AGPH Books is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The Video Editor will be responsible for planning, editing, and producing video content that supports academic publishing, marketing campaigns, author outreach, and brand storytelling. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, synchronizing audio, applying color correction and grading, and incorporating motion graphics and titles to create polished videos.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for educational, promotional, and documentary-style content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency and overall quality of video output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, infographics, and visual elements that support academic storytelling.
- Proficiency with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to follow brand and academic guidelines are required.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment are expected.
- Relevant experience in video editing for educational, academic, or publishing contexts, and a diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field is advantageous.
