Role Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a part-time remote basis. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content, performing color grading, creating motion graphics, and producing visually engaging materials. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with teams to bring creative concepts to life, incorporating feedback across revision cycles, maintaining high production quality, and meeting project deadlines for video deliverables.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in video editing or a related role
- Strong proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Experience in colour grading to enhance the visual quality and consistency of video content
- Proficiency in creating motion graphics using tools like Adobe After Effects
- Graphics expertise to design and integrate visual assets seamlessly into video materials
- An AI-first approach, or a willingness to learn AI-powered video editing tools for faster execution
- Familiarity with editing across formats, including social media reels, ads, product videos, or long-form content
- Effective time management and organisational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote team environment
- Ability to take creative direction, incorporate feedback, and iterate efficiently
- Familiarity with industry trends and a strong creative vision are added advantages
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Film, Media Production, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Availability of approximately 20 hours per week
