This is a remote position. We are looking for a Video Editor who understands how content performs on social media and how ad creatives drive conversions. This role is focused heavily on editing short-form videos and performance marketing creatives for D2C brands across platforms like Instagram, Meta, and YouTube. You’ll work closely with strategists, performance marketers, and creative teams to create fast-paced, high-retention, conversion-focused video content that is built for digital platforms. This is not just a “make it look good” editing role. We’re looking for someone who understands hooks, storytelling, audience attention spans, and how to turn raw footage, UGC content, and AI-generated visuals into ad-ready creatives. Key Responsibilities- Edit short-form videos for Meta ads, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social-first platforms Create performance-driven ad creatives focused on retention and conversions Edit UGC-style ads, promotional videos, product videos, and social media content Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and text animations to improve engagement Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and brand tonality Use AI tools to speed up and improve the video creation workflow Refine and polish AI-generated visuals/videos to make them production and ad-ready Follow brand guidelines while maintaining creative quality and platform relevance Incorporate feedback quickly and maintain fast turnaround times Requirements Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing for social media and performance marketing Experience editing Meta ads, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and product ad videos Good understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, transitions, and sound design Experience creating UGC-style ads and short-form performance creatives Basic motion graphics, typography, and text animation skills Understanding of AI video tools such as Higgsfield, Kling 3.0, Google Flow, or similar platforms Ability to use AI tools effectively to improve efficiency and creative output Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver platform-native edits Ability to take feedback positively and work in a collaborative remote environment Good to Have- Experience working with D2C brands Understanding of performance marketing and ad creative testing Knowledge of social media trends and short-form content formats Experience working in a marketing or creative agency If you enjoy building high-performing creatives, experimenting with AI workflows, and creating content built for the internet, we’d love to hear from you.
