Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor and Grapher based in the Mohali district. The role involves planning and producing video content that showcases the Next Chapter House experience, including community events, resident stories, and property features. Day-to-day responsibilities include shooting video and photo content on-site, editing footage, applying color grading, and creating motion graphics and visual assets aligned with brand guidelines. The Video Editor and Grapher will collaborate with the marketing and community teams to develop content concepts, optimize videos for digital platforms, and maintain a consistent visual style across channels. The role also includes managing media files, staying updated on visual trends, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
Qualifications
- Strong video production skills, including on-site shooting, framing, lighting, and audio capture.
- Proficiency in video editing and video color grading using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Ability to create motion graphics and graphics for social media, ads, and brand storytelling (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience crafting narrative-driven visual content, with attention to pacing, transitions, and brand consistency.
- Understanding of digital and social media platforms, formats, and best practices for short-form and long-form video.
- Strong visual sense, creativity, and ability to translate abstract ideas into compelling visual stories.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with marketing and community teams on-site.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; portfolio demonstrating previous work is required.
