We’re looking for a fast, creative video editor who understands the AI space and knows how to turn raw ideas into high-performing content. This is not just editing. This is about building attention, storytelling, and distribution at scale. If you can take a rough clip and turn it into something that people actually stop scrolling for, we should talk.
Responsibilities
● Edit short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style) optimized for attention and retention
● Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong storytelling and pacing
● Add hooks, captions, transitions, motion graphics, and visual storytelling elements
● Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form assets
● Work closely with the content team to maintain a consistent brand style
● Understand platform-specific editing styles for YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn
● Use AI tools to speed up editing, captions, cuts, and workflows
Qualifications
● Strong experience in video editing for social media content
● Clear understanding of what works in the AI / tech content niche
● Ability to create high-retention, fast-paced edits
● Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and hooks
● Someone who moves fast, takes ownership, and iterates quickly
● A portfolio of videos you’ve edited (short + long-form)
Bonus Skills
● Experience with tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
● Understanding of content strategy and audience psychology
● Experience using AI tools for editing, voice, or automation
● Basic motion graphics and thumbnail sense
