Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $40 - $100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver high-quality video projects using Shotcut in a remote collaborative environment.
• Demonstrate effective video editing workflows, sequencing, and project organization techniques.
• Participate in workflow recordings to showcase editing decisions and project delivery processes.
• Document editing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and refine video editing methodologies.
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
• Maintain structured file management and clear communication throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Strong experience using Shotcut for professional video editing workflows.
• Demonstrated portfolio of real-world video editing projects.
• Deep understanding of video sequencing, editing techniques, and post-production workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining workflow decisions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain organized project structures.
• Proficiency with remote collaboration and digital communication tools.
