About the Role:
At Sociallabs, we work on long-form documentary-style YouTube content (2–4 hour videos).
We’re looking for a video editor to join our post-production workflow and handle the initial editing stages, from organizing assets to preparing structured rough cuts.
You’ll be working within an established editing system, contributing to projects that demand consistency, attention to detail, and strong timeline management.
Responsibilities:
- Import, sync, and organize raw footage in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Assemble rough cuts based on structured scripts
- Handle basic transitions, titles, and audio balancing
- Maintain clean and organized project files
- Prepare sequences for final polish and delivery
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Ability to handle long-form timelines (2–4 hours)
- Strong sense of structure, pacing, and detail
- System capable of handling large projects smoothly
- Ability to consistently deliver within defined timelines
- Comfortable working on structured, process-driven edits (not freestyle editing)
