About Club Vidyut
Club Vidyut is a multidisciplinary student initiative at GITAM University working towards participation in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2029. Our team consists of students from various disciplines collaborating to develop sustainable mobility solutions while building a strong public presence and industry network.
Position Overview
Club Vidyut is looking for a Video Editor to join the Business Team and help create content that showcases our projects, events, team culture, achievements, and journey toward the World Solar Challenge.
This position is suitable for students with basic editing skills who are eager to learn and improve. Prior professional experience is not required.
Responsibilities
Edit Instagram Reels, LinkedIn videos, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube videos.
Create engaging content from footage captured by team members.
Add captions, transitions, music, and basic graphics.
Support branding, outreach, sponsorship, recruitment, and event-related content.
Work closely with the Social Media and Marketing functions within the Business Team.
Contribute creative ideas for content and storytelling.
Requirements
Must be a student of GITAM Deemed to be University.
Basic knowledge of video editing software such as CapCut, VN, DaVinci Resolve, Filmora, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
Interest in content creation and social media.
Willingness to learn and contribute consistently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
