Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Video Editor based in Chennai. Partial remote work is possible. The Video Editor will be responsible for creating, editing, and assembling high-quality video content for various platforms. Daily tasks will include editing raw footage, collaborating with the creative team, integrating visual effects, adding soundtracks, and ensuring the final product meets brand standards. Additionally, the Video Editor may be involved in conceptualizing video ideas, troubleshooting technical issues, and working under tight deadlines to deliver polished content.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Video Editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Skills in Motion Graphics, Visual Effects, and basic Animation
- Experience with Sound Editing, syncing audio, and integrating sound effects into videos
- Experience in editing Medical Social Media content
- Generation and utilisation of AI images and videos as appropriate
- B-Roll curation based on understanding of video concepts
- Strong understanding of Visual Storytelling and an eye for detail
- Familiarity with modern Social Media Platforms and trends in video content creation
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is appreciated
- Experience in a marketing or creative agency environment is an advantage
