About the Role:

BIGNxt is seeking a creative and fast-paced Video Editor to join our

content team. Your primary focus will be crafting high-retention long-form and short-form

content, though you will also handle long-form video and thumbnail design. You must be a

storyteller who understands social media pacing, trends, and how to visually hook an

audience.

Key Responsibilities:

● Short-Form Mastery: Edit high-quality Reels featuring dynamic cuts, engaging

captions, trending audio, and visual effects.

● Content Production: Handle end-to-end editing for both short-form and long-form

YouTube content (trimming, transitions, colour grading, and sound design).

● Design: Create high-CTR (Click Through Rate) thumbnails using Photoshop or

Canva.

● Trend Adaptation: Stay ahead of social trends and AI editing tools to produce

relevant content with quick turnarounds.

● Brand Alignment: Ensure all visual assets adhere to BIGNxt’s brand guidelines and

quality standards.

Requirements:

● Portfolio: Your past work demonstrating experience specifically in Reels/TikTok

style editing (pacing, hooks, and typography).

● Software: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or DaVinci

Resolve). Experience with mobile apps (CapCut, Edits) and AI tools is a plus.

● Technical Skills: Solid understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and visual

storytelling.

● Graphic Design: Ability to design clean, compelling thumbnails.

● Soft Skills: Excellent communication, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and a

problem-solving mindset.
