Video Editing Intern
Location: Mumbai - Work From Office
Type: Paid Internship
Reports to: Marketing Team
About the Role
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editing Intern to join our Marketing team, working from our office. You'll edit engaging video content for social media, campaigns, and brand storytelling, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working directly alongside our marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, YouTube, website, or marketing campaigns
- Add music, sound effects, transitions, text overlays, and basic motion graphics
- Trim, color correct, and format videos for different platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Organize and manage video assets and project files
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team on creative direction, briefs, and storyboarding
- Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner
- Stay updated on video trends, formats, and editing techniques relevant to the brand
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut)
- A portfolio or reel showcasing prior editing work (personal projects welcome)
- Basic understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and willingness to take feedback
- Must be able to work from office on a regular basis
Nice to Have
- Experience with motion graphics (After Effects)
- Familiarity with color grading
- Knowledge of social media content trends
- Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop/Canva)
