Video Editing and Asset Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who combines video editing skills with strong organizational ability to manage and streamline large volumes of video content across productions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with footage beyond editing — ensuring it is well-structured, easily accessible, and efficiently managed.
🎯Key Responsibilities
📂Video Asset Management
- Organize and maintain structured libraries of video assets (matches, shoots, edits, archives)
- Create and enforce naming conventions, folder structures, and metadata standards
- Ensure all footage is properly sorted, tagged, and documented
⬇️Ingestion & Storage
- Manage ingestion of footage from shoots, production teams, and remote setups
- Coordinate storage across drives, servers, and cloud platforms
- Monitor storage usage and maintain clean, optimized systems
🔍Retrieval & Workflow Support
- Enable quick and efficient retrieval of footage for internal teams
- Support editors and stakeholders with required clips and versions
- Maintain version control across multiple edits and deliverables
⚙️Process & Optimization
- Develop and follow SOPs for file management, archiving, and backups
- Explore tools and workflows to improve efficiency (including MAM tools)
- Maintain proper logs and documentation for all assets
✅Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in video editing / post-production / media handling
- Hands-on experience with editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and file types (MP4, MOV, H.264/H.265, etc.)
- Experience handling large volumes of footage in a structured manner
- Familiarity with shared storage systems (drives/cloud)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
⭐ Good to have
- Exposure to Media Asset Management (MAM) tools
- Experience in sports, live production, or broadcast environments
- Basic understanding of storage systems (NAS/SAN)
