Video Content Producer & Visual Designer
About KisanKraft
KisanKraft Limited is a leading Bengaluru-headquartered agricultural equipment and power tools company, dedicated to empowering farmers across India with modern, affordable farm mechanization solutions. With a 46-acre manufacturing facility in Nellore, 14 branch offices, a dealer network of 5,000+ partners across the country, and exports to 20+ countries, KisanKraft is committed to driving productivity and innovation in the agricultural sector.
About the Role
Most farmers decide what to buy after watching a machine work in a field like theirs, so video is central to how KisanKraft sells. We're looking for a hands-on, multi-skilled Video Content Producer & Visual Designer who can shoot a video, edit, design, and use AI video tools to produce content that is accurate, in the farmer's language, and fast to market.
You will own KisanKraft's video and visual output end to end — product demos, field stories, dealer and service training, social media, e-commerce listings, and export-market content. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in a paddy field with a camera, in an edit suite, and with the newest generative AI tools, and has a genuine interest in the agricultural sector and rural economy.
This role is based in Bengaluru and reports to the Brand Manager as part of the in-house creative team, working closely with the graphic designers, sales, service, export, and CRM teams. We are looking for 2–5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Production (Plan, Shoot & Edit)
- Product Demo & Field Videos: Plan, script, shoot, and edit demo videos across our ~450-product range (reapers, weeders, tillers, sprayers, pumps, power tools, and more), filmed in real field conditions with farmers, dealers, and service engineers.
- Pre-production: Turn briefs from the Brand Manager, Sales, and Export teams into storyboards, shot lists, and scripts; scout locations, coordinate with branch offices and dealers, and plan shoots around crop seasons.
- Shooting: Operate DSLR/mirrorless and video cameras, gimbals, drones (where permitted), lights, audio, and green screen; capture strong product, factory, and field photography for catalogues, packaging, and listings.
- Post-production: Edit, colour-grade, mix audio, and add motion graphics and subtitles; deliver every video in formats suited to YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook, WhatsApp, the KisanKraft app, e-commerce marketplaces, and dealer displays.
2. AI Video Generation & AI-Assisted Production
- Generative Video: Use generative AI video tools (for example Runway, Google Veo, Kling, Pika, or similar) to create B-roll, concept visuals, animated explainers, and social-first short videos.
- AI Voice & Avatars: Use AI avatar and voice tools (for example HeyGen, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, or similar) for multilingual voice-overs, dubbing, and presenter-style videos at scale.
- AI Design & Editing: Use AI image and design tools (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Photoshop Generative Fill, Canva AI) and AI editing features (auto-captions, transcription, upscaling, noise and background removal, smart reframing for vertical formats) to cut turnaround time.
- Blending AI with Real Footage: Write effective prompts and combine AI-generated footage with real shoot footage so the final output looks seamless and credible.
- Product Accuracy: Never let AI misrepresent a product's specifications, performance, safety features, or the way it is operated. Real products shown doing real work must be filmed, or verified against the actual machine by the product team.
- Responsible Use: Follow platform AI-labelling rules and applicable Indian regulations on synthetic content, respect copyright and licences, and get consent before using any real person's face or voice.
- Tool Scouting: Keep track of new AI tools and recommend what KisanKraft should adopt, with an eye on quality, cost, and speed.
3. Graphic Design & Brand Collateral
- Create social posts, thumbnails, banners, brochures, product leaflets, dealer point-of-sale material, and exhibition and Krishi Mela creatives.
- Ensure all video and visual output stays consistent with KisanKraft brand guidelines across online and offline channels.
4. Multilingual, Training & Channel Content
- Regional Languages: Produce regional-language versions (Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, and others) through voice-over, subtitles, and AI dubbing, so the same video works across states and export markets.
- Training & After-Sales: Make short how-to, safety, operation, and maintenance videos for farmers, dealers, and service teams across our 5,000+ dealer network.
- Corporate & Export: Cover the Nellore manufacturing facility, events (season kick-offs, dealer meets, farmer meetings, launches), leadership communication, and content for international distributors in our 20+ export markets.
5. Asset Management & Performance Tracking
- Maintain an organised, searchable library of raw footage, edited videos, photos, and design files, with clear version control and usage rights.
- Track views, watch time, and engagement with the sales team, and use the data to improve hooks, length, and formats.
- Stay flexible to take on new assignments as business priorities shift.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong visual storytelling — you can explain a machine's benefit to a farmer in 30 seconds.
- Sharp sense of design, composition, and colour, with an extraordinary eye for detail.
- Good technical knowledge of audio/visual equipment, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safe work practices, especially around lighting, manual handling, and filming near moving farm machinery and power tools.
- Comfortable working with farmers and dealers in rural settings; Kannada, Hindi, or Telugu along with English is a strong advantage.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while being a good team player who handles ambiguity by asking the right questions and anticipating needs.
Software Knowledge
- Video: Adobe Suite - Premiere Pro, After Effects, and more.
- Design: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Canva.
- AI: At least one generative video tool and one AI voice/avatar tool, used in real projects.
- Other: MS Office; 3D product rendering or animation (Blender, Cinema 4D, KeyShot) will be a plus.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate, or degree/diploma in Film Making, Video Production, Visual Communication, Animation, or Design.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in video production and graphic design, ideally for a product, manufacturing, agriculture, or rural-focused brand.
- A portfolio/showreel is mandatory, including at least one sample of AI-generated or AI-assisted video work.
Travel
Travel is required for field shoots, the Nellore manufacturing facility, dealer sites, exhibitions, and farmer events.
