We're looking for a Video Content Producer who can take ownership of the creative process—from idea to execution. If you're someone who naturally thinks in videos, enjoys writing scripts, directing shoots and creating content people love to watch, we'd love to meet you.
Your Role
You'll be responsible for creating engaging social media video content for:
- PickleMonk Media
- PickleMonk Studios
- Client Brands
- Founder & Personal Branding Projects
You'll work closely with videographers, editors, designers and the Creative Director to turn ideas into high-performing content.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Ideation
- Develop creative concepts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos and other digital platforms.
- Research trends and convert them into brand-relevant content.
- Create recurring content series and campaign ideas.
- Plan monthly content for PickleMonk Media, PickleMonk Studios and client accounts.
Script Writing
- Write engaging scripts, hooks and storytelling structures.
- Create production briefs and shot lists.
- Adapt writing styles for different industries and personal brands.
Shoot Direction
- Direct presenters, founders and creators during video shoots.
- Guide videographers on framing, pacing and storytelling.
- Ensure every shoot aligns with the creative vision.
Post-Production Collaboration
- Work with editors to shape the final video.
- Review edits and provide creative feedback.
- Ensure videos are optimised for each social platform.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in content creation, advertising, social media or video production.
- Excellent storytelling and scriptwriting skills.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and emerging social platforms.
- Ability to generate fresh ideas consistently.
- Confidence in directing people on camera.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
Bonus Skills
- Basic video editing knowledge.
- Experience in a creative agency or production house.
- Understanding of personal branding content.
- Familiarity with AI tools for research and ideation.
