About the Role
We're looking for a creative Video and Graphics Designer to own the visual storytelling across our social media and content channels. You'll be producing scroll-stopping Instagram Reels, engaging YouTube videos, and crisp, on-brand graphics. This is a fully remote position; preference for candidates based in Ahmedabad for occasional in-person collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce Instagram Reels optimized for retention, reach, and engagement
- Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos — cuts, B-roll, motion graphics, subtitles, and thumbnails
- Design graphics for social posts, carousels, posters, and marketing collateral
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, Descript, Kling, etc.) to speed up workflows, generate assets, and unlock new creative directions
- Collaborate with the content team to translate raw footage and briefs into polished final assets
- Track platform trends, formats, and hooks so content stays current and performs
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in video editing and graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut), After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator — or equivalents like CapCut, Canva, and Figma
- Strong working knowledge of AI creative tools and clear judgment on where they help vs. where they don't
- A portfolio with Reels, Shorts, YouTube edits, and graphic design samples
- Solid sense for typography, pacing, sound design, and visual hierarchy
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable with async remote work
Nice to Have
- Experience creating content for personal brands, creators, or D2C/tech companies
- Understanding of platform algorithms and what drives content performance
- Motion graphics skills (After Effects, Lottie)
- Basic sound editing and music selection
