Job Title: Vice Principal

Position OverviewThe Vice Principal supports the Principal in managing academic, administrative, and operational functions of the college. This role focuses on ensuring academic quality, faculty coordination, student discipline, and smooth day-to-day functioning of the institution.
Key Responsibilities1. Academic Coordination- Assist in planning and implementation of curriculum and academic calendar
- Monitor teaching quality, attendance, and student performance
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus and internal assessments
2. Administration & Operations- Oversee daily college operations including timetables and scheduling
- Maintain academic records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Support inspections, audits, and accreditation processes
3. Faculty Management- Coordinate with Heads of Departments and faculty members
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff
- Monitor faculty performance and classroom delivery
4. Student Management- Maintain discipline and address student grievances
- Oversee attendance, examinations, and evaluation processes
- Promote student engagement through extracurricular activities
5. Compliance & Quality Assurance- Ensure adherence to university norms and regulatory requirements
- Support accreditation processes (NAAC or equivalent)
- Maintain documentation and quality standards
6. Parent & Stakeholder Interaction- Assist in handling parent queries and concerns (if applicable)
- Coordinate with external stakeholders and academic partners
7. Institutional Development- Support initiatives for admissions growth and branding
- Assist in implementing new academic programs and improvements
Eligibility Criteria- Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline (Ph.D. preferred)
- Minimum 8–12 years of teaching experience in higher education
- At least 2–5 years in an academic leadership role (HOD/Coordinator)
