Vice Principal – Academic OperationsRole OverviewThe Vice Principal – Academic Operations is responsible for ensuring smooth and high-quality academic delivery for JEE/NEET/Foundation batches across PW Vidyapeeth centres in Hyderabad, in alignment with PW pedagogy and standards. The role will oversee academic planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of student learning outcomes while supporting the Principal/Academic Head in overall centre governance.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Planning and Scheduling- Prepare and manage annual, monthly, and weekly academic planners for all courses (JEE/NEET/Foundation) ensuring timely syllabus completion.
- Design and monitor lecture schedules, faculty timetables, and classroom allocation for optimal resource utilisation.
- Oversee implementation of academic calendars, holiday plans, and revision/test schedules across centres.
Classroom Delivery and Faculty Supervision- Supervise faculty to ensure effective lecture delivery, doubt sessions, and revision classes.
- Ensure availability of teaching plans, topic coverage trackers, and weekly targets.
- Monitor faculty performance, punctuality, and adherence to academic plans; escalate gaps when required.
Assessments, Content and Academic Processes- Oversee planning and execution of tests (unit tests, part tests, grand tests, mock exams).
- Ensure timely distribution of academic materials (DPPs, assignments, test papers, solutions).
- Standardise processes like attendance tracking, homework monitoring, evaluation, and result publication.
Student Performance Monitoring- Track student performance through attendance and test data; generate academic MIS reports.
- Identify weak and high-potential students and implement interventions such as remedial classes and mentoring.
- Coordinate with mentors and counsellors to improve student outcomes, retention, and satisfaction.
Academic Governance and Discipline- Conduct regular academic review meetings with faculty and centre teams.
- Ensure discipline in classrooms, adherence to schedules, and exam protocols.
- Implement feedback systems for students and parents and ensure corrective actions.
Coordination and Leadership- Support the Principal/Academic Head in managing daily academic operations.
- Coordinate with business and central teams for admissions, academic planning, and new initiatives.
- Assist in academic planning for marketing events, seminars, and result promotions.
Qualifications and Experience- Master’s Degree (Mandatory) in Science/Engineering/Education/Management.
- 3–7 years of experience in academic operations, coordination, or leadership roles in K-12 or test-prep (JEE/NEET preferred).
- Experience in managing faculty, academic delivery, and centre operations is highly preferred.
Key Skills and Competencies- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MIS, Excel, and ERP tools for academic tracking.
- Experience in student management, parent handling, and academic counselling.
- Knowledge of Telangana Intermediate academic processes and regulations (preferred).
- Ability to manage operations, compliance, and academic excellence simultaneously.
Compensation- Salary: Up to ₹40,000 (in-hand) per month, based on experience and performance.
