Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Vice Principal role based at the Heartfulness International School – CBSE Kanha Campus in Nandigama. The Vice Principal will support the Principal in leading academic and administrative operations, including implementation of the CBSE curriculum, development of teaching and assessment practices, and oversight of school policies and procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring and supervising teaching staff, conducting classroom observations, coordinating timetables and examinations, and ensuring adherence to academic and pastoral care standards. The role involves regular interaction with students and families, addressing academic and behavioral concerns, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and values-driven school culture. The Vice Principal will also contribute to strategic planning, school events, co-curricular initiatives, and continuous improvement of systems that support holistic student development.
Qualifications
- Strong academic leadership skills, with experience in school administration, staff management, and policy implementation.
- Demonstrated expertise in CBSE curriculum planning, instructional design, and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to foster an inclusive, learner-centered, and values-based school culture aligned with holistic education and well-being.
- Proven skills in organizational planning, time management, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment.
- Experience in teacher mentoring, professional development, and performance review processes.
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field, with recognized teaching qualifications and substantial school leadership experience.
- Familiarity with integrating co-curricular, socio-emotional, and value-based learning into school life; openness to Heartfulness or similar contemplative practices is an advantage.
