We are seeking an experienced Vice-Principal to co-lead our academic and administrative initiatives and strengthen the school’s commitment to high-quality education.
Role Overview
The Vice-Principal will work closely with the Principal to:
- Oversee academic programmes across Play School to Grade 12.
- Manage daily school operations and policy implementation.
- Guide teacher development, student welfare, and parent engagement.
- Support strategic planning and continuous school improvement.
This role blends instructional leadership with operational management and is ideal for an educator with both teaching expertise and administrative vision.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Lead curriculum design and delivery across all school sections.
- Mentor and evaluate teachers; promote continuous professional development.
- Monitor student performance and implement improvement strategies.
- Oversee assessments, examinations, and academic reporting.
- Teach classes in their subject area as needed.
Administrative & Operational Management
- Support admissions, timetabling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Implement policies on discipline, attendance, safety, and child protection.
- Supervise administrative and support staff and coordinate vendor relationships.
Student Welfare
- Promote inclusive education and student well-being.
- Oversee counselling, behavioural management, and student support systems.
- Serve as an escalation point for parent and student issues.
- Strengthen school culture through value-based programmes and community engagement.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with educational board standards (ISC/ICSE/) and statutory norms.
- Support audits, inspections, and accreditation processes.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with B.Ed. (required).
- 5–8 years of teaching experience with at least 2–4 years in a leadership or coordinator role.
- Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Proven ability in team leadership, organisation, and decision-making.
Preferred: Experience in admissions, finance management, educational technology, or school accreditation.
