Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and client-focused Vice President – Solutions Consulting to lead solution design and advisory for our travel technology and OTA-facing offerings. This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and client engagement, and requires a strong understanding of the online travel ecosystem, including competitive price benchmarking across platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, and other similar platforms.
The ideal candidate is not only a seasoned solution architect but also a consultative partner to clients, capable of translating business needs into scalable solutions, driving revenue through upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and delivering actionable market insights.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Solutioning
- Partner closely with OTA clients and travel businesses to understand their strategic, operational, and technical requirements
- Design and deliver end-to-end, customized/new solutions that align with client goals and platform capabilities
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on product adoption, optimization, and innovation
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Provide deep insights into pricing strategies, inventory positioning, and competitive benchmarking across leading OTAs (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda)
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to recommend differentiated solutions
- Leverage data to identify opportunities for clients to outperform competitors
Product & Data Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to shape and enhance platform capabilities
- Translate client needs into product requirements and feature enhancements
- Ensure solutions are data-driven, scalable, and aligned with product roadmap
Revenue Growth (Upsell & Cross-sell)
- Identify opportunities to expand client engagement through upselling and cross-selling relevant features and services
- Drive commercial outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on client value
Problem Solving & Innovation
- Lead complex problem-solving initiatives for clients, addressing challenges across pricing, distribution, and performance
- Develop innovative approaches to improve client outcomes and platform differentiation
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in growth consulting, data solutioning, or product roles, preferably within travel tech or OTAs
- Strong understanding of the online travel ecosystem, including pricing dynamics, distribution, and competitor landscape
- Proven ability to work at the intersection of business, product, and data
- Experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated success in solution selling, upselling, and cross-selling
- Solid technical understanding (APIs, data platforms, system integrations), without necessarily being hands-on coding
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with or alongside major OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, etc.)
- Background in analytics, revenue management, or travel pricing strategies
- MBA or equivalent business qualification
