The Role:
We are hiring a VP – Services Delivery to lead our customer-facing solutions and services business out of Hyderabad. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with U.S. health plan customers to architect solutions, deliver measurable business outcomes, run customer governance, and shape the next generation of AI-native services delivery. This is a builder's role — equal parts customer-facing trusted advisor, operating leader, and talent architect.
You must be a true believer in Agentic AI as the future of services delivery — and be able to convince customers to adopt it for their business solutions.
What You Will Own
- Customer solutioning: partner with U.S. health plan customers to translate their business problems into deliverable solutions — co-creating roadmaps, scoping engagements, and shaping outcomes that move their metrics.
- Business outcomes, not just deliverables: drive every engagement against measurable customer business outcomes — operational efficiency, cost-to-serve, member experience, speed-to-market — and report progress against them in every governance forum.
- Agentic AI advocacy and adoption: be the executive voice that brings Agentic AI thinking to customer conversations. Influence customers to adopt agent-led workflows for their business operations, build conviction through demonstrated outcomes, and shape their AI roadmap alongside ours.
- Customer governance: chair executive steering committees, QBRs, and program reviews with customer C-level sponsors. Own the trust relationship; surface trade-offs early; protect both customer outcomes and Simplify's commercial position.
- Operational excellence: run a tight operating cadence across a multi-customer, multi-program portfolio. Build dashboards, RAID discipline, and decision rights that let you run many threads in parallel without losing the plot on any of them.
- Next-gen AI talent: build the Hyderabad services organization as a flagship for AI-native delivery. Recruit, develop, and retain talent fluent in Agentic AI, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and AI-augmented services delivery models.
- Startup versatility: operate with the agility of a founder — go from customer escalation to hiring decision to solution review to commercial negotiation in the same day. Build process where it creates leverage; resist process where it slows the business.
- P&L and commercial accountability: own the services P&L for the Hyderabad center — utilization, margin, deal economics, billing milestones, and revenue growth.
What You Bring:
- 25+ years in IT/software services delivery, with significant time in senior leadership running customer-facing services businesses for North American enterprise customers.
- Proven track record of building and growing services delivery organizations — ideally with experience standing up or scaling a new delivery center, practice, or service line.
- Deep, hands-on conviction in Agentic AI as the operating model for next-generation services — not a slide-deck believer, but someone who has actually shipped, used, or implemented agent-based workflows and can speak to the realities of doing so.
- Demonstrated ability to influence customer executives on transformation choices — bringing them along on AI adoption, new operating models, and outcome-based engagement structures.
- Exceptional operating discipline: you can run 8–12 parallel customer threads with composure, clear prioritization, and zero dropped balls.
- Startup-grade versatility: comfort with ambiguity, willingness to roll up sleeves, and the judgment to know when to build process and when to move without it.
- Strong commercial instincts — solutioning, pricing, deal shaping, margin management, and account growth.
- Outstanding executive presence; comfortable presenting to and negotiating with customer C-suite, and equally comfortable mentoring a junior engineer on agent design.
- Healthcare/U.S. payer domain experience is a strong advantage — but services delivery leadership credibility and AI conviction come first.
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science required; MBA preferred.
