Purpose
Lead and oversee the end-to-end implementation, operations, and strategic execution of Government (Central & State) schemes and projects, ensuring effective stakeholder management, operational excellence, compliance, timely delivery, and achievement of organizational objectives at a national level.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for planning, execution, monitoring, and successful implementation of Government schemes and large-scale projects across multiple states and regions.
- Drive operational excellence by establishing robust implementation frameworks, governance mechanisms, SOPs, and performance monitoring systems for all Government program operations.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects within defined timelines, budgets, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Central Ministries, State Governments, SSCs, Training Partners, Assessment Agencies, industry stakeholders, and other ecosystem partners.
- Develop implementation strategies aligned with organizational goals, Government priorities, and evolving policy frameworks.
- Monitor project performance through data-driven reviews, MIS dashboards, analytics, and periodic reporting mechanisms to ensure achievement of KPIs and operational targets.
- Identify operational challenges, policy gaps, and implementation bottlenecks, and proactively recommend strategic interventions and innovative solutions.
- Ensure effective coordination among internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth execution and timely resolution of operational issues.
- Provide leadership in stakeholder communication, review meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions with senior Government officials and partner organizations.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, scalability, and impact of Government programs.
- Oversee field operations and ensure adherence to quality standards, audit requirements, compliance norms, and program guidelines.
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning for ongoing projects and ensure effective governance and accountability mechanisms are in place.
- Support organizational growth by identifying new opportunities under Government initiatives, strategic collaborations, and expansion of program outreach.
- Mentor and develop high-performing teams by fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and result orientation.
Knowledge and Experience
Education Qualifications
Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent is required
PMP Certification preferred
Experience
Minimum 19 years of experience in managing large projects
- Strong experience in managing large-scale Government programs, public sector projects, or skill development initiatives at national and state levels.
- Proven leadership experience in operations management, stakeholder engagement, project implementation, and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of Government ecosystems, policy frameworks, implementation mechanisms, and public administration processes.
- Excellent project management, analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in handling multi-state operations, large teams, and complex stakeholder environments.
Proficiency in MIS, data analysis, reporting frameworks, and operational review mechanisms.
Language Skills
Must be fluent in English and Hindi
