We are seeking a highly capable and dynamic VP- Operations to lead and scale multiple business divisions, drive operational excellence, and take full responsibility for the P&L of a large and fast-growing business unit. The COO will work closely with the CEO for 8–12 months during the transition phase, after which significant leadership and operational responsibilities will be delegated.
Key Qualities & Competencies Required
1. Strong Business & Commercial Acumen
• Deep understanding of business models, revenue levers, profitability drivers.
• Ability to analyse the business end-to-end and take strategic decisions that impact growth and P&L.
• Prior experience leading or managing a sizeable business, division, or large operational unit.
2. Problem-Solving & Execution Leadership
• Ability to identify problems proactively, find root causes, and propose practical solutions.
• Strong ownership to drive initiatives from concept to completion.
• Ability to operate in both collaborative and authoritative leadership modes, depending on the situation.
3. Technology, Automation & AI Mindset
• Solid understanding of technology, automation, and AI concepts.
• Experience converting AI/tech knowledge into practical use cases and delivering outcomes.
• Not required to be a developer, but must understand how to lead tech-enabled transformation.
4. Change Management & Transformation Ability
• Must be a change agent capable of driving cultural, operational, and strategic transformation.
• Prior experience in organizational change, process redesign, or HR transformation is highly preferred.
5. Multi-Disciplinary Functional Expertise
The role requires broad exposure and understanding across.

The candidate must be comfortable managing leaders across multiple verticals and integrating all functions into a cohesive operating engine.

• Ability to lead large teams and multiple department heads.
• Balanced temperament—firm when required, collaborative when needed.
• High emotional intelligence, maturity, and team motivation capabilities.
7. Exposure to Global Stakeholders
• Will be required to travel to the US as needed.
• Should be comfortable interacting with international clients, partners, and leadership teams.
