Head of Engineering – AI / Machine Learning | Agentic AI
We are hiring a Head of Engineering – AI for a fast-scaling global organization building AI-first products and platforms.
This is a foundational leadership role where you will define the AI engineering strategy, build high-performing teams, and deliver production-grade AI / ML and Agentic AI solutions.
What You’ll Own
- Define and execute AI Engineering strategy & roadmap
- Architect and scale production-grade AI/ML systems & Agentic AI platforms
- Lead development of LLM applications, conversational AI, speech analytics, computer vision solutions
- Build and mentor a high-performing AI engineering team (5–15 members)
- Drive AI product innovation & enterprise-grade deployments
- Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency of AI systems
- Partner with business, product, and client stakeholders to deliver impact
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years in software engineering with strong AI/ML experience
- 3+ years in engineering leadership / team management
- Hands-on experience building LLM-based applications / Agentic AI systems
- Strong expertise in NLP, AI/ML models, or intelligent automation
- Experience with tools like LangChain / Agent frameworks / LLM orchestration tools
- Strong coding + architecture experience across end-to-end AI systems
- Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Proven ability to build and scale AI products in production
Good to Have
- Experience in AI-first / GenAI product companies or startups
- Exposure to multi-agent systems / autonomous AI agents
- Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and AI productization
