You're a product executive with a track record of delivery. You take a defined product vision, decompose it into the smallest units of value, and ship enterprise-ready AI functionality quickly—without letting the process devolve into roadmap performance art. You've already experienced the "AI fixes everything" wave, understand where it fails, and know how to build regardless. If your strongest contributions emerge when you control the full outcome (deciding, prototyping, hardening, launching, and observing actual customer usage), this role warrants your attention.
The broader software industry approaches AI like a superficial overlay: add a chatbot interface, launch a "copilot," label it innovation, and hope purchasers don't probe too deeply. Our approach is fundamentally different. We construct AI-native functionality that justifies its inclusion by producing quantifiable enterprise impact, and we execute at a pace that makes conventional planning appear self-destructive. Our advantage lies in accelerating Sell → Design → Build cycles, disciplined scope management within a clear strategic direction, and production releases that satisfy enterprise requirements without prolonged coordination delays.
This role centers on the swift delivery of enterprise-caliber, AI-native product capabilities directly to customers. It involves personally building prototypes with current AI tools to confirm technical viability before engineering solidifies the implementation. It means owning the complete delivery arc from vision clarification through production launch, making critical tradeoff decisions, and shipping within defined constraints. It does not mean "attaching AI features" absent a concrete value case. It is not a feature-request intake operation, a requirements-document factory, or a presentation-driven career. It does not involve abstract vision rhetoric, model performance indicators disconnected from user outcomes, or assumptions that AI functions flawlessly.
You'll work closely with engineering in a player-coach capacity: part hands-on builder, part decision authority, zero parts process coordinator. You'll convert an established strategic vision into actionable scope, prototype rapidly to eliminate uncertainty, and deliver releases that customers can genuinely deploy in authentic enterprise settings. If you've launched original enterprise software, leveraged AI as an execution mechanism, and remain composed when industry hype confronts production realities, you'll receive the autonomy to execute quickly and the accountability to ensure durability. What You Will Be Doing
- Shipped Product Capabilities: Original or significantly improved product features released to production and available to enterprise customers
- AI-Driven Prototypes: Functional prototypes built using AI as the principal execution mechanism to confirm viability before production hardening
- Enterprise-Grade Production Deployments: Completely hardened, secure, dependable deployments that satisfy enterprise expectations for quality, usability, and security
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Portfolio management or roadmap-focused product leadership
- Customer discovery as the principal directional input
- Process-intensive or governance-centered product roles
- Using AI solely as an assistive tool rather than a fundamental execution layer

- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering new products or substantial capabilities from inception through completion

- Track record of upholding enterprise-software standards for quality, security, reliability, and deployment

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
