We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President - Business Development to drive growth, build high-value client relationships, and expand our integrated service offerings within the advertising ecosystem. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, revenue ownership, and team leadership, with a deep understanding of the evolving marketing and media landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end business development strategy, identifying new opportunities and building a robust sales pipeline across industries.
- Lead and mentor business development team, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and organizational goals.
- Drive growth by positioning the agency’s expertise across brand and creative strategy offerings—including retainers, social media mandates, and packaging solutions—while also expanding into digital ecosystems such as website development, SEO/GEO-driven performance, and AI-powered tools.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities across production (TVCs, video content, and AI-led video solutions), media planning and buying across mainline, digital, and performance marketing, as well as emerging areas like influencer marketing and experiential/events as part of integrated solutions.
- Build long-term partnerships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor to understand business challenges and translate them into impactful marketing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including strategy, creative, media, production, and technology to deliver seamless and effective campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new growth avenues and innovative offerings.
- Own revenue targets, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring consistent achievement of business goals.
Key Requirements:
- 12-18+ years of experience in business development/sales within an advertising agency or integrated marketing setup.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing high-value deals.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing solutions across creative, digital, media, and production.
- Demonstrated experience in team management and leadership, with the ability to scale and inspire teams.
