We are hiring for a senior leadership role in the life insurance industry. The organization is looking for an experienced AVP/VP – Marketing (Institutional Alliances) to join the team in Delhi RO. The role is focused on scouting and building strategic partnerships with banks, NBFCs, fintechs, MFIs, and other relevant entities to drive growth and expansion through the Institutional Alliances channel.

• Reporting To: VP – IA Acquisition, Corporate Office, Mumbai
• Team Size: NIL (Direct/Indirect)

Key Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibility

• Liaise effectively with senior functionaries of internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional technical departments.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships to facilitate business growth and collaboration.

Functional Responsibility

• Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulatory guidelines for intermediaries onboarding.
• Draft and prepare proposals, write-ups, reports, and deliver impactful presentations to prospective partners.
• Provide strategic inputs to optimize partnership models and drive revenue growth through Institutional Alliances.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align initiatives with overall organizational objectives and compliance requirements.

Job Purpose

• Identify, scout, and develop partnerships and alliances with banks, NBFCs, fintechs, MFIs, and other suitable entities in assigned territories.
• Expand the Institutional Alliances channel by leveraging strategic relationships, business insights, and regulatory knowledge.
• Ensure all partnerships and initiatives are executed within prescribed guidelines, frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating smooth coordination and timely execution of alliance initiatives.

Qualification & Experience

• MBA with 15+ years of experience in the life insurance industry, with a strong track record in institutional partnerships, alliances, or business development.

Skills & Competencies

• Deep domain knowledge of life insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
• Strategic thinking and ability to drive initiatives independently in a leadership capacity.
