Your Primary Role:
• Meticulously review the company’s financial fundamentals to address any vulnerabilities in its structure to ensure financial statements, cash flow management, and debt structures are rock-solid.
• Benchmarking the company’s profitability against both local and global peers in order to identify the gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• To build proficient finance teams across various functions such as controllership, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Investor Relations (IR), financial operations, FinOps), business finance, tax, treasury, and more.
• Maintain an excellent relationship with Banks, financial institutions, and Investors for using financial resources to achieve the company's general objectives, optimising performance by negotiating terms.
• Responsible for overall statutory compliance and management of the Group and bringing in required tax efficiency/ savings.
• Oversee accounting operations, gathering, and analyzing financial data and report on metrics to optimize our growth by understanding where efficiencies exist to maximize scalability throughout the year.
• Strategically Design and promote financial management Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems that contribute to Company’s preparation for the forthcoming IPO.
• Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs and optimizing working capital.
• Developing and administering key processes of periodic internal and statutory Audits through external Audit firms and Internal Audit committees.
• Partner with Chief Executive Officer to establish and track revenue goals.
What makes you the best fit:
• Chartered Accountant from ICAI must
• Articleship with any Big four and post qualification in Industry of at least 10+ Years ina Management Role.
• Freight forwarding & Logistics Industry Preferred
• In-depth knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit and tax compliance and other regulatory matters
• Good understanding of Capital-debt structuring and working capital management
• If you have helped in the transition phase of a company that’s build its way to being an IPO, that shall be an added advantage.
• You should be adept in fiscal management principles and processes, including resource management and needs assessment.
• You should have an experience of at least 2 Years as Financial Controller or CFO administering a turnover of more than 2000 Crores, or you should have an experience of equity fundraising ranging from 100-500 million crores.
