About the Role
Own the finance transformation agenda across R2R, O2C, and P2P, converting business priorities into scalable process, technology, and operating-model outcomes. Lead end-to-end ERP implementation programs across discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, stabilization, and value realization. Act as the senior techno-functional bridge between finance leaders, business stakeholders, technology teams, system integrators, and executive sponsors. Establish governance, architecture alignment, delivery controls, and benefits tracking across the portfolio. The role requires practical hands-on understanding rather than advisory-only exposure, with the ability to challenge designs, resolve complex dependencies, and make implementation decisions. FMCG or CPG project experience is mandatory, while consulting experience is preferred. Success will be measured through adoption, process standardization, controls, reporting quality, cycle-time improvement, and sustained business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the integrated transformation roadmap across R2R, O2C, and P2P, aligning process, data, controls, and ERP decisions with enterprise finance outcomes and measurable value realization.
- Lead end-to-end SAP, Oracle, or comparable ERP implementation delivery from requirements and solution design through testing, cutover, stabilization, and post-go-live performance improvement.
- Govern system integrators, functional workstreams, and senior stakeholders through structured decision forums, risk controls, dependency management, and transparent executive reporting.
- Translate finance operating-model requirements into practical techno-functional solutions, challenging process designs and configuration choices that create standardization, control, scalability, and user adoption.
- Build transformation benefits tracking across close, collections, payables, working capital, compliance, reporting quality, and process cycle times to demonstrate sustained business impact.
- Apply FMCG or CPG project experience to address high-volume, multi-entity, customer, supplier, inventory, and commercial finance complexities within transformation programs.
- Lead change adoption across finance and business teams by establishing ownership, capability building, communication, and operating discipline required for new processes and systems.
- Resolve cross-tower issues decisively, balancing business continuity, implementation timelines, risk exposure, architecture integrity, and long-term maintainability.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Mandatory hands-on, end-to-end implementation experience with SAP, Oracle, or another enterprise ERP platform, covering design, configuration oversight, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
- Strong techno-functional command of R2R, O2C, and P2P processes, including controls, master data, integrations, reporting, close, collections, procurement, and payables outcomes.
- Proven transformation governance capability across system integrators, cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, delivery risks, dependencies, benefits, and adoption measures.
- Mandatory experience delivering FMCG or CPG-related transformation projects involving complex, high-volume, multi-entity finance and commercial operating environments.
- Strong consulting, problem-solving, communication, and executive influencing skills, with the ability to convert ambiguity into implementable decisions and measurable outcomes.
Additional Plus
- Experience managing global or multi-country ERP transformation programs with common templates, localization requirements, shared services, and complex integration landscapes.
- Exposure to finance data, analytics, automation, controls, process mining, or adjacent technologies that improve transparency, decision quality, and operational performance.
- Experience leading post-go-live optimization, value realization, and continuous improvement beyond initial implementation delivery.
What You'll Bring
- 15–23 years of experience in finance transformation, ERP delivery, enterprise technology, consulting, or related leadership roles, with demonstrated ownership of complex programs and business outcomes.
- Mandatory end-to-end ERP implementation experience on SAP, Oracle, or a comparable platform, combining executive-level leadership with sufficient hands-on techno-functional depth to guide critical design and delivery decisions.
- Mandatory FMCG or CPG project experience, including an understanding of high-volume transactions, multi-entity operations, commercial finance interfaces, supply-chain dependencies, and the control environment required for scalable transformation.
- A consulting background is preferred, particularly experience advising senior finance and business leaders while also driving implementation execution, issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and measurable value realization.
- B.Tech or another technical educational background, supported by strong understanding of finance processes across R2R, O2C, and P2P.
- An outcome-led leadership style that creates accountability across internal teams, system integrators, business owners, and technology partners while maintaining delivery momentum and implementation quality.
