Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Coimbatore, with flexibility for remote work. The Vice President of Business Development will lead efforts to identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities, devise strategic plans, conduct high-level contract negotiations, drive sales growth, and maintain strong relationships with key accounts. The individual will collaborate with internal departments to align business strategies with corporate goals and oversee the development and expansion of business partnerships.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in New Business Development and Business Planning
- Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Sales
- Experience in Account Management and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid working model and manage off-site and on-site responsibilities effectively
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within US CPA firms, accounting firms, and advisory practices
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, conferences, LinkedIn outreach, and strategic partnerships
- Lead discovery calls, presentations, and proposal discussions with firm owners and decision-makers
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and transition for new clients
- Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events in the US accounting space
- Maintain long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for cross-selling and account expansion
- Stay updated on trends within the accounting, tax, CAS, and offshoring industries
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5–12+ years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or consulting
- Prior experience in the accounting, tax, bookkeeping, CAS, or outsourcing industry is preferred
- Strong understanding of US accounting firms and CPA practice workflows
- Experience working with India–US delivery models or offshore staffing solutions is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to engage with firm owners, partners, and senior leadership teams
- Self-driven, consultative, and growth-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel to the US for conferences and client meetings, if required
