Role Description The Vice President at Marsh IMEA in Bengaluru is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing key client relationships, and overseeing the delivery of complex risk and insurance solutions. The individual will lead and develop teams, set performance objectives, and ensure high-quality service across client engagements, while collaborating closely with regional and global stakeholders. Day-to-day activities include shaping business development strategies, guiding proposal and pitch development, reviewing and optimizing risk programs, and monitoring financial performance of the portfolio. The role also involves mentoring colleagues, promoting a culture of inclusion and high performance, and ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The Vice President will contribute to thought leadership, represent Marsh IMEA in market forums, and support the continuous improvement of processes and client offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of guiding high-performing, diverse teams and driving accountability.
- Expertise in risk management, insurance broking, or related financial services, including experience with complex client portfolios and advisory engagements.
- Proven business development, client relationship management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to grow and retain key accounts.
- Strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, including experience using data and market insights to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience working within regional or global organizations, with strong collaboration skills across functions and geographies.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; an MBA or professional certifications (e.g., IRM, CPCU) are advantageous.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, regulatory compliance, and fostering an inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace.
