Job Title: Vice President – Projects

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director
Role Overview
The Vice President – Projects will lead the end-to-end execution of real estate development projects,
ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. This role is
critical in driving project strategy, overseeing construction operations, and aligning project outcomes
with the organization’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple real estate projects (residential,
commercial, mixed-use).
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with defined quality
standards.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Construction & Site Management
Oversee all construction activities across project sites.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety norms, and quality benchmarks.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and vendors to ensure seamless
execution.
Conduct regular site reviews and performance assessments.
Budgeting & Cost Control
Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
Optimize costs through value engineering and efficient procurement strategies.
Monitor cash flow requirements and align with finance teams.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with internal teams including design, legal, sales, and finance.
Interface with external stakeholders such as contractors, consultants, and regulatory
authorities.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and milestones.
Compliance & Approvals
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
Work closely with liaisoning teams to secure necessary approvals and clearances.
Maintain documentation and audit readiness for all projects.
Risk Management
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure proactive resolution of technical, contractual, and operational challenges.
Leadership & Team Management
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing project and site teams.
Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence.
Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree preferred.
15–25 years of experience in project management within the real estate or construction
industry.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale real estate projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management tools, and industry
best practices.
