Role Purpose
To lead end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale lagoon (man-made beach) development projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, quality standards, and seamless coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 1. Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead the entire lifecycle of lagoon development—from concept to commissioning
- Drive design finalization, feasibility, and execution strategy
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
- Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve bottlenecks
🔹 2. Engineering & Technical Oversight
- Work closely with engineering teams, consultants, and architects
- Review designs, hydraulic systems, filtration systems, lining technologies
- Ensure compliance with global standards in water body construction
- Bring in best practices from international lagoon/waterfront projects
🔹 3. Cross-functional Coordination
- Act as the single point of accountability across:
- Engineering
- Procurement
- Legal
- Finance
- Sales/Marketing (for project positioning)
- Ensure alignment and execution across all departments
🔹 4. Vendor & Partner Management
- Identify and onboard specialized vendors (water tech, EPC, filtration, etc.)
- Manage international consultants / technology providers (if any)
- Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance delivery
🔹 5. Procurement & Cost Control
- Work with procurement team on:
- Vendor selection
- Cost optimization strategies
- Contract structuring
- Ensure project is delivered within approved financial framework
🔹 6. Legal & Compliance
- Coordinate with legal team for:
- Environmental approvals
- Water usage permissions
- Regulatory compliance
- Ensure adherence to local and international safety standards
🔹 7. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Interface with investors, clients, and leadership team
- Provide regular project updates and dashboards
- Represent the company in high-level meetings and negotiations
🔹 8. Risk Management
- Identify technical, financial, and execution risks
- Develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies
Key Requirements
🎓 Education
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- Specialization in Hydraulics / Water Resources / Marine Engineering is a strong plus
