Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Freelance 3D Cinematic Artist / VFX Creator to produce high-quality CGI-based cinematic videos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing visually compelling 3D scenes from concept to final render, including modeling, animation, lighting, and rendering.
The final deliverables will include short-form cinematic videos (10–30 seconds) optimized for social media platforms.
This is a remote, project-based engagement where the selected candidate will collaborate with the creative team to develop cinematic CGI visuals aligned with the brand’s creative direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Create cinematic 3D scenes and animations for digital content
- Model and texture objects, environments, and creatures
- Develop realistic simulations such as ocean, weather, and atmospheric effects
- Animate characters or creatures with natural and believable motion
- Set up cinematic lighting, camera movement, and scene composition
- Render high-quality video outputs suitable for social media platforms
- Perform post-production editing and color grading
- Deliver finalized video assets ready for publishing
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in creating cinematic 3D animations or VFX-based content
- A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant work
- Ability to produce high-quality short-form visual content
- Understanding of cinematic composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines
Experience in creating CGI-based social media content for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok will be considered an advantage.
Preferred Skills and Tools
Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following tools:
- Blender
- Unreal Engine
- Cinema 4D
- Houdini
- After Effects or DaVinci Resolve
Technical expertise in:
- 3D modeling
- Rigging and animation
- Fluid or ocean simulations
- Realistic lighting and rendering
- Post-production editing
