Job Profile – Head of VFD Sales for Metal Industry
Position Location: Mumbai/Pune/Delhi/Bangalore/Raipur
Reporting to - Business Head
Industry Prefer – Automation industry with experience on VFDs sales (Servo exposure would be additional advantage)
Application: Metal Industry (Eg: Cut to length, Servo Shifter, Bar rod cutter)
Year of experience – 12-18 years
Purpose of the Role
Drive business growth for Metal vertical through business development activities on PAN India basis along with field sales team, including cross selling and managing customer relationships thereby ensuring achievement of sales targets of the vertical.
Key Responsibilities
To do customer mapping, competitor mapping with respect to different application segments
Identify and develop System integrator and Potential OEM’s in Metal applications for a long term business relationship.Work closely with field sales team & identified system integrators for application prove out in Metal processing machines – create referencesPerform application study about the clear requirements/deliverables from customer and suggest suitable BOM thr’ local sales team. Work closely with the application development team for simulation of applications like Wire Drawing Machines, Sheet Metal processing, Galvanizing, Straightening, Forming, Cut to length, Trapezoid Cutting, Flying Shear, Rotary Shear, Slitter, Unwinder, Winder, Barmill & TMT, Servo Shifter, Bar Bending, Pilger Mill, load sharing etc., by understanding customer wants, needs and desire.Ensure timely response to System integrators / customer requirements with the help of field sales teamNeed to act as a Key Account Manager for Potential big OEM’s and push for our products to them for the entire range of their machines.Identify opportunities for integrated solutions i.e. orders involving IM Motors/ Servo motors Systems along with Drives division product lines toHead – Drive Sales Build on vertical toolkit including, intro letter, presentations, catalogue, case studies, FABs, FAQsKeep close watch on market trends for technological changes/upgrades, competitor business share, offerings – LinkedIn, exhibitions, seminars/webinarsWork closely with sales co team, MMD team for smooth executionProvide technical support to customers on after-sales related issues, work closely with application, service team for warranty / service requirements, if anyPeriodic visits to OEMS for understanding scope of improvement in offering which would help adding value In their machinesStudy the compliances laid by international standards and to adapt same in BBL offering with help from application teamEnsure specifications of the customer are documented in the relevant formatsEnsure timely response to the customer on any queries / issues raised by them during finalization / execution /post execution sales Preparing Reports and forecast about the demand of products partner wise & region wise/ Track forecast Vs Actual sales. Prepare MIS dashboard for review with management.
