Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Surgeon based in Jalgaon The Veterinary Surgeon will provide high-quality medical care to animals, including performing diagnostic assessments, surgeries, and treatments. Daily responsibilities include conducting routine check-ups, administering medications, ensuring the welfare of the animals, and collaborating with the animal welfare team on improving care strategies. The role will also involve assisting with laboratory procedures and contributing to the organization's animal welfare initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Veterinary Surgery and Medicine
- Skilled in Pet Care and Veterinary Medicine practices
- Experience with Laboratory Skills relevant to diagnostics and treatment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate approach and willingness to work in a team
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification
- Relevant licensure or certification in veterinary practice
- Experience in animal welfare or shelter medicine is advantageous
