Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced Veterinary Physician, located in Porvorim. The Veterinary Physician will focus on diagnosing and treating animal health issues, conducting routine check-ups, and implementing preventative healthcare protocols for pets at our hospital. Key responsibilities include performing clinical examinations, prescribing medication, providing surgical interventions, and advising pet owners on proper care and nutrition. The role also involves collaborating with the hospital team to deliver exceptional care and maintaining accurate medical records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing, treating, and preventing animal health conditions through clinical and surgical expertise.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and provide detailed health advice and guidance.
- Knowledge of veterinary medicines, treatments, and preventative healthcare practices for household pets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment and maintain accurate medical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or Medicine (BVSc or equivalent) and relevant licensure to practice veterinary medicine.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is highly desirable.
