Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Veterinarian located in Chandigarh. The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to pets, including conducting routine examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, performing surgeries, and administering vaccines. Additional day-to-day responsibilities include advising pet parents on pet health, nutrition, and preventative care, maintaining detailed patient records, and collaborating with other team members to deliver exceptional care and customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in pet care, veterinary medicine, and performing medical examinations
- Proficiency in diagnosing illnesses, creating treatment plans, and performing minor to advanced surgeries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for advising pet parents on health and wellness
- Understanding of pet nutrition, behavior, and preventative care strategies
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- A valid veterinary license and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is a plus
