Room Attendant

The Surfsand Resort is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This full-time position plays a key role in the guest experience by taking pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for our guests, ensuring every room reflects the care and quality our resort is known for. 

What You’ll Do

• Clean and service guest rooms to resort standards
• Change linens, make beds, and refresh amenities
• Clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and ensure overall room presentation
• Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly
• Restock housekeeping carts and supplies
• Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Help create a positive and welcoming experience for every guest

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and able to manage time effectively
• Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required

Starting June 1st through Labor Day, you will earn an additional $1.50 per hour for summer bonus!

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; OR 6 months - 1 year related experience and/or training
• Ability to read a limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words 
• Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences
• Basic math skills
