The Business Analyst will play a key role in assisting leadership with various projects related to successful management and delivery of our FTTH markets. The role will focus on foundational tools and processes to enable consistent, standardized tracking and reporting across our market portfolio. The Business Analyst will also assist in proactive data management, report creation, and data analysis, helping to synthesize information from disparate sources and inform a roadmap for integration. This role will collaborate with several departments and assist in defining and instituting process architecture and data definitions to enable accurate, timely reporting of metrics and thorough, actionable business insights.The ideal candidate will gain exposure to all areas of the business and work to break down functional silos with strong communication and collaboration, optimizing our data and processes to drive Vero’s success.RESPONSIBILITIESLearn the business and build relationships to become a valued cross-functional resource, providing data led insights that enable better decision-makingSupport multiple functions in data management and analysis (Sales, Marketing, Ops, PMO, Business Development) to inform and improve standard processes, as well as in support of strategic transformation initiativesAssist in the creation of detailed process maps and documentation to illustrate current and future-state business processesSupport the analysis of current business processes, data, and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvementWith guidance, prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress to stakeholdersUtilize data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of departmental issues and risks, and work with leadership to recommend opportunities and solutionsGenerate/build ad-hoc reports and analysesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, or related fieldIntermediate to Advanced Excel – VBA, SQL, and R/Python preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategicallyExperience with or ability to learn business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and project management softwareExperience working collaboratively on Microsoft Office Suite/Teams, including sharing documents, setting permissions, and managing version history to facilitate team collaboration and document managementExcellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailAptitude and desire for learning new/different processes within the company, with a drive to build a strong foundational skillset for a career at VeroJOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThere is no travel required for this position.This position requires the ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods of time, using a computer and other office equipment.This position requires the ability to perform fine motor tasks, such as typing or using a mouse, for extended period of time.The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with weeknight and weekend availability as needed to fulfill the core duties of the role.This position is Remote.This is an Exempt position.This is a staff position.Ability to pass a background check.COMPENSATION, BENEFITS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThe anticipated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 – $70,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.
