Software Engineer – IoT/M2M Applications

Key Responsibilities: Develop efficient, secure, and high-performance applications that support mission-critical systems Collect system and client requirements to design system functionalities and features Write clean, maintainable backend code using Java, Spring Framework, and other technologies Build and support scalable services using cloud-native infrastructure including Kubernetes on AWS Participate in the full application lifecycle – from planning and design to development and deployment Analyze technical specifications and translate them into functional program modules Provide production support and resolve issues for 24/7 live systems Coordinate project activities, create documentation, and deliver regular progress reports Monitor and troubleshoot using cloud tools for application stability and performance What We're Looking For We seek individuals who are problem-solvers with strong analytical thinking and a collaborative spirit. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 1+ year of experience in software development or relevant project work Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Framework Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Apache Camel, JMS, Cassandra, and TCP/IP networking Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerized deployments Knowledge of application performance monitoring and production troubleshooting Preferred Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to transition into a full-stack development role over time Proven experience in debugging and resolving technical issues Aptitude for translating business requirements into robust code solutions Prior exposure to agile development practices
