Lead Experience Designer (Retail Experience)

Verizon is seeking an experienced Lead Experience Designer to join our Retail Experience team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering compelling end-to-end experiences for our retail customers. This includes designing omnichannel experiences, overseeing the execution of these experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery. You will also be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for the retail experience, and for mentoring and developing junior experience designers. Key responsibilities include:- Designing innovative and engaging omnichannel retail experiences that delight our customers- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and execute the retail experience strategy- Overseeing the execution of retail experiences, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints- Mentoring and developing junior experience designers- Staying up-to-date with the latest UX and retail design trends and best practices- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve the retail experience based on user research and feedback- Communicating design rationale and decisions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience in experience design or a related field, with a strong background in retail and/or consumer product design- Solid understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform design decisions- Proficiency with design tools and software, such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite- Experience mentoring and developing junior designers- A portfolio demonstrating your experience in designing and delivering compelling retail experiences
