Digital Test Lead

Key Responsibilities
• Define and implement a robust testing strategy tailored to digital banking platforms Web &
Mobiles, ensuring exceptional user experiences.
• Lead testing efforts for digital transformation programs, including omnichannel initiatives,
core banking modernization, and API ecosystems.
• Establish and enforce standards, processes, and KPIs for testing in digital environments.
• Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting for complex digital
projects.
• Partner with product owners, business teams, technology teams, and third-party vendors
to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on testing readiness, risks,
and project health.
• Champion automation-driven testing approaches using modern tools like Selenium,
Appium, Postman, JMeter, and cloud-based environments.
• Lead a high-performing team of testers specializing in digital technologies.
• Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical skills, domain knowledge, and
testing competencies.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the Testing CoE.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, non-functional, API, and end-to-end
scenarios.
Skills & Qualifications
• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field.
• 15+ years in Digital Testing, with a focus on digital banking solutions for at least 5 years.
• Proven track record in leading testing efforts for mobile and internet banking platforms,
digital wallets, API-driven systems, and payment gateways.
• Domain Expertise:
• In-depth understanding of digital banking systems, customer journeys, financial workflows,
and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
• Knowledge of emerging technologies like Open Banking, blockchain, and AI/ML in
banking.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Appium, UFT), API testing tools
(Postman, JMeter), and performance testing frameworks.
