About the Role
Netlify is hiring a Marketing Operations Manager to own the systems, data, and campaign operations that Netlify's marketing runs on. We're seeking someone with GTM familiarity and who has already been the sole or lead marketing ops person at a product-led company. This Marketing Ops role will run HubSpot, wire up attribution, build and send segmented lifecycle email, and produce reporting that managers can trust — all with minimal oversight. The goal is to keep Netlify's marketing engine accurate, instrumented, and always-on so the internal team can drive higher conversions and grow new demand. This role is for someone who has done this job before and can operate autonomously after being trained. It is not for someone who needs a playbook provided to them.
Responsibilities
• HubSpot administration & operations. Own the instance end to end with minimal daily supervision: workflows, lifecycle-stage automation, segmentation, forms, lists, email programs, hygiene, and documentation. • Attribution & tracking plumbing. Build and maintain governed UTM schemes and conversion/attribution wiring across HubSpot and Salesforce, partnering with RevOps and the Data team to connect campaigns to signups, activation, and ARR. • Campaign & lifecycle execution. Build, QA, launch, and monitor segmented email programs, nurture/onboarding sequences, and lifecycle flows. Includes marketing vs. transactional splits by audience tier, working from a goal rather than a step-by-step spec. • Reporting. Produce accurate weekly and monthly dashboards and the numbers behind them on a fixed cadence; own data quality and investigate anomalies before they're flagged. • Experiment operations. Configure, run, and log A/B tests on emails and landing pages; keep a consistent results record. • Product analytics & AEO / LLM-visibility tracking. Operate tooling such as Amplitude and Profound to baseline and report signals like AI-citation share alongside an AEO lead, growing this as the programs mature. • Stack & integration health. Keep tools connected and healthy (HubSpot, SFDC, Amplitude, Profound, etc.), including deliverability and list/suppression management; spot breakages early, maintain integration docs, and flag what to fix, keep, or retire. • Cross-functional interface. Own recurring data handoffs and shared conventions with RevOps, the Data team, and GTM Engineering; bring decisions to approve, not problems to solve. • Documentation. Document as you go, so the function stays reliable and doesn't live in one person's head.
Must Have
• 5+ years in marketing ops, including time as the sole or lead ops person at a product-led (PLG) SaaS company. • Expert, self-sufficient HubSpot (admin-level) and hands-on Salesforce attribution experience. • SQL / warehouse fluency to answer marketing questions and build reporting without a data engineer. • A track record of owning reporting and vouching for data quality without a second set of eyes. • UTM and attribution rigor across multiple channels and tools. • Strong async written communication and operating habits — documentation, status, and knowing what to escalate. • A history of low-touch delivery: you've run ops with minimal supervision. • Meaningful daily overlap with U.S. working hours.
Nice to Have
• Attribution experience in a self-serve / PLG motion, and comfort communicating its limits honestly. • Product analytics (Amplitude) and experimentation experience. • Familiarity with AEO / LLM-visibility tooling (e.g., Profound).
