Role Overview
The ideal candidate will be skilled at each stage of the design process but always focused on the needs of the end user. You will work with other designers and cross-functional team members and will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions. Applications without a folio will not be considered.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about design, have a strong aesthetic sense, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

1. 4-5 years of work experience in the SaaS arena
2. Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
3. A broad portfolio that demonstrates your design chops across the phases mentioned above
4. An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
7. Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback
8. A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives
9. Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts
10. Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve
11. Creative problem-solving skills
12. Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences
13. Provide assistance to product engineers when needed
14. Recommend new tools and technologies by staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques

Responsibilities

1. By partnering with cross-functional teams and customers, you will turn your insights into delightful products in a creative environment that requires proven design skills and the ability to execute a creative vision.
2. Set design requirements based on requirements and user research.
3. Identify new product improvement opportunities.
4. Analyze how a new product/flow/feature satisfies market needs and consumer preferences.
5. Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.
6. Coordinate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
7. Modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences.
8. Work closely with product engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes.
9. Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
