Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon for a Venue Growth & Operations Lead. The role involves managing daily operations of the venue, optimizing customer experiences, driving revenue growth, and ensuring facility maintenance. You will be responsible for onboarding, managing, and growing sports venues (turfs) on the platform. This includes acquiring new partners, ensuring smooth operations, maximizing bookings, and maintaining quality standards across all listed venues.
Qualifications
- Operational management skills, including facility oversight and scheduling
- Customer service and relationship management expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for performance tracking and growth strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in business development and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience in event coordination or sports management is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sports Management, or a related field
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon on a full-time basis
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- TURF AQUSITION AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Identify and onboard new turf owners, sports complexes, and academies
- Pitch the platform value proposition and close partnerships
- Negotiate commercial terms (commission, pricing, exclusivity, etc.)
- Build a strong pipeline of venue partners in the target city
2.PARTNER MANAGMENT
- Act as the single point of contact for turf owners
- Build long-term relationships and ensure partner satisfaction
- Resolve issues related to bookings, payments, or customer experience
- Train partners on using your platform (dashboard, booking flow, etc.)
3.OPEARATION & MANAGEMENT
- Ensure all listed turfs are accurately updated (availability, pricing, photos)
- Monitor booking flow and minimize cancellations or conflicts
- Coordinate with internal teams (tech, customer support, marketing)
- Handle escalations from users and partners
4.GROWTH & REVENUE OPTIIMIZATION
- Improve utilization of turfs (increase bookings per slot)
- Suggest pricing strategies, offers, and promotions
- Launch campaigns or leagues/events to drive demand
- Track and improve partner performance metrics
5.TEAM OWNERSHIP
- Hire and manage a team for city operations
- Set targets for acquisition and revenue
- Build SOPs for onboarding and operations
- Ensure consistent service quality across all venues
6.DATA & REPORTING
- Track KPIs like:
- Number of turfs onboarded
- Active venues
- Booking conversion rate
- Revenue per turf
- Use data to identify gaps and opportunities
