Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Charter School Support and Oversight, the Student Competitions Coordinator will plan, design, oversee, organize, coordinate, establish timeline activities and build partnerships with local school districts and businesses that support and expand all phases and operations related to student competitions and fundraising. The Student Competitions Coordinator will plan budgets and expenditures, direct all aspects, and bring to closure multiple projects. Responsibilities encompass fundraising, volunteer recruitment, program development, management, and evaluation of Student Competitions. Assure agreements, activities, and projects comply with applicable State and Federal regulatory policies, and timelines. Provide for, in-service, multicultural awareness and understanding, parent involvement and education, and auxiliary services components.

Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to: A Bachelor’s degree and four years of event planning experience. Fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and public relations experience preferred.
