Job Title: Travel Operations Executive – Fleet & Vendors

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Travel Operations Executive – Fleet & Vendors who can take ownership of vendor coordination, pricing decisions, and trip execution in our cab business.
This role is critical to ensuring fast response time, optimal pricing, and high trip fulfillment rates. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in taxi/travel operations and be comfortable handling real-time decision-making under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Management
- Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with drivers and fleet vendors
- Negotiate competitive pricing and ensure consistent availability
- Build a reliable vendor network across key routes and cities
- Maintain backup vendors for peak demand and emergencies
2. Pricing & Quotation
- Quickly calculate and share trip pricing based on vendor cost and target margins
- Maintain route-wise and vehicle-wise pricing benchmarks
- Ensure profitability on every booking while staying competitive
- Adjust pricing based on demand, seasonality, and urgency
3. Trip Fulfillment & Dispatch
- Assign bookings to vendors efficiently
- Ensure driver confirmation before trip start
- Handle last-minute cancellations or issues proactively
- Monitor ongoing trips and resolve operational issues
4. Coordination with Sales Team
- Respond to incoming leads within 2–5 minutes
- Work closely with the sales team to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
- Ensure smooth handover from booking to execution
5. Process & Data Management
- Maintain a structured database of vendors, routes, and pricing
- Track vendor performance (cancellations, delays, reliability)
- Improve operational processes to reduce turnaround time and errors

- Trip Fulfillment Rate
- Vendor Cancellation Rate
- Average Response Time
- Margin per Booking
- Customer Complaint Rate
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in taxi/travel operations
- Hands-on experience in:
- Vendor coordination
- Pricing and rate negotiation
- Trip planning and dispatch
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Good communication skills (Hindi required, basic English preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network of drivers/vendors is a strong advantage
- Experience with outstation routes (e.g., Delhi–Jaipur, Manali, Agra, etc.)
- Understanding of per km pricing, driver allowances, and route costing
