Starting as an e-commerce platform, we aim to onboard premium vendors from across India and global markets (including China) to deliver world-class design, quality, and customer experience.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Strategic Vendor Partnerships Manager to build and scale our vendor ecosystem. This role will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing high-quality furniture vendors while ensuring alignment with KI & KA’s luxury positioning, pricing strategy, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Acquisition & Onboarding
Identify and onboard premium furniture manufacturers and suppliers across Pan India and international markets (China focus)
Pitch KI & KA’s platform, value proposition, and close vendor partnerships
Conduct due diligence on vendor quality, pricing, and capabilities
Partnership Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
Act as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related communication
Ensure smooth onboarding, cataloging, and activation of vendors on the platform
Commercial & Negotiation
Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms
Structure profitable deals aligned with company targets
Drive exclusivity or preferred partnerships where possible
Quality & Brand Alignment
Ensure all onboarded vendors meet luxury brand standards
Monitor product quality, consistency, and vendor performance
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain brand positioning
Marketplace Growth
Expand product categories and improve catalog depth
Identify gaps in supply and onboard vendors accordingly
Support marketplace scaling and vendor performance optimization
Cross-functional Coordination
Work closely with catalog, logistics, marketing, and operations teams
Ensure seamless execution from vendor onboarding to customer delivery
Key Requirements
3–7 years of experience in vendor management / business development / sourcing
Experience in furniture, interiors, home décor, or similar industry (preferred)
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Exposure to B2B partnerships or marketplace models
Ability to work with international vendors (China sourcing is a plus)
Strong commercial acumen (pricing, margins, scalability)
