ABOUT LINK2BUILD
Link2Build is an early-stage quick-commerce startup building India's go-to platform for building materials and home improvement products. We are creating a one-stop solution that connects customers with trusted vendors for products like cement, steel, tiles, paints, hardware, plumbing, electricals, sanitary, and more. As a pre-launch startup, every team member will play a key role in building the business from the ground up.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Vendor Onboarding Manager to identify, onboard, and manage vendors across Bengaluru. You will work directly with the founders to build a strong network of suppliers before launch and ensure the right vendors are available on the platform from Day 1.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
• Identify and onboard vendors across building material categories.
• Meet vendors, negotiate commercial terms, and complete onboarding.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Verify vendor quality, pricing, product availability, and documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and launch readiness.
• Travel across Bengaluru whenever required for vendor meetings.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• 3–6 years of experience in Vendor Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Development.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Comfortable meeting vendors and travelling for field visits.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in Kannada, English, Hindi, and Telugu.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Comfortable working 6 days a week (Saturday & Sunday are Mandatory. One weekday off will be provided between Monday and Friday.)
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
• Experience in Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure, or Building Materials industry.
• Experience handling vendors, suppliers, dealers, distributors, or procurement.
• Exposure to Cement, Steel, Hardware, Paints, Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary, Tiles, or similar building material categories.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
A large-team corporate role with defined processes waiting for you. A remote job. A role where vendors are already available for you to manage. If you need hand-holding or a ready system, this isn't the right fit.
